Dubai-based developer DAMAC Properties has partnered with ERA Philippines to give Filipino investors direct access to real estate opportunities in the Middle East, highlighting growing local interest in offshore market diversification.
The partnership was introduced through an invitation-only Dubai Property Showcase in Manila, where selected residential projects in Dubai were presented to potential investors. The event reflected rising demand among Filipinos to diversify assets beyond the domestic market.
Projects on display included luxury urban residences, resort-style master-planned communities, waterfront developments, and branded residential properties. The offerings were designed to suit both first-time international buyers and experienced investors seeking exposure to Dubai’s property sector.
ERA Philippines said more Filipinos are becoming intentional about spreading their investments across different countries to manage risk and tap into growth markets. By connecting local investors directly with overseas developers, the company aims to make international property investments more accessible and easier to understand.
Offshore diversification allows investors to reduce reliance on a single economy, hedge against local market fluctuations, and gain access to markets with strong tourism, business activity, and tax advantages. Dubai, in particular, has positioned itself as a global property hub with investor-friendly policies and a strong expatriate population.
Founded in 2002, DAMAC Properties has delivered over 50,000 residential units and has tens of thousands more in progress. The company operates in 15 cities worldwide, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Canada, the Maldives, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
ERA Philippines, launched in 2024 through a partnership between Singapore-based APAC Realty Ltd. and Upper Room Realty Inc., offers residential and commercial property services such as sales, leasing, brokerage, and valuation.
Industry observers say the collaboration underscores the Philippines’ growing role as a source of global real estate capital, as more Filipino investors look abroad for long-term growth and portfolio stability.
