Eezee secures $5M, expands regional footprint with strong PH backing

Kickstart Ventures has expanded its support for Southeast Asian procurement platform Eezee, as the startup raised $5 million in a pre-Series B funding round to grow its regional footprint and strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

The funding round was led by Korea Investment Partners, with participation from Wavemaker Ventures. The new capital will help Eezee accelerate expansion across Southeast Asia and invest further in its AI-powered procurement software, RFQBot and ProcureFlow.

Eezee has officially launched operations in Thailand, adding to its existing presence in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The company focuses on “tail-end spend” — low-value, routine purchases that are often handled manually by businesses.

Its AI tools aim to automate requests for quotations, supplier coordination, and order management. Eezee says this can reduce procurement time from days to minutes and help companies cut costs by at least 20 percent.

For Philippine businesses, the expansion signals wider access to digital procurement solutions that can lower operating costs and improve efficiency, particularly for large enterprises managing multiple suppliers. As regional operations scale, local companies may also benefit from improved cross-border sourcing and supply chain visibility.

The funding comes amid a slowdown in Southeast Asia’s startup ecosystem, where investments have declined and investors have tightened governance standards. Despite this, Eezee reported strong investor demand, with the round oversubscribed.

Since the first quarter of 2025, the company said it has achieved steady quarterly growth, ending the year with 61 percent year-on-year revenue growth. Its Indonesia and Malaysia units have reached operational profitability. Revenue from its AI software products is expected to reach six-figure annual recurring revenue by year-end.

Kickstart Ventures managing partner and co-founder Dan Siazon said the firm continues to back Eezee due to its strong revenue growth and disciplined cost management, adding that the company is building “critical infrastructure” for modern enterprises.

Eezee expects to reach group-level profitability in the second half of the year while continuing its expansion across Southeast Asia.

For stakeholders in the Philippines — including enterprises, suppliers, and investors — the development highlights growing regional competition in digital procurement and signals continued investor confidence in scalable, AI-driven business solutions despite tighter funding conditions.
