Eton Properties Philippines Inc., the property development arm of Lucio Tan, on Wednesday said it plans building another township in Central Visayas and expand its component community at Eton City in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The Cebu project will widen its core businesses and help drive growth for the next 10 years.
The township will stand on 35-hectare property with a 600-meter beachfront, a sandy beach cover, and an internal lagoon area in Lapu-Lapu City in Mactan Island, Cebu.
“We will make the best use of the site’s natural characteristics by preserving the natural environment while undertaking the multi-brand positioning for the future growth markets through various business segments. This project will be envisioned as the next business and leisure destination in one secured and exclusive community in Cebu,” Kyle C. Tan, the company’s new president and CEO, said.
In Luzon, the 641-hectare Eton City will soon become the next wave city south of Metro Manila.
Located along South Luzon Expressway, Eton City will imbibe a world-class business district to cater to the burgeoning office demand for information technology and business process management.
The company plans to commission some of the world-renowned architectural firms in developing world-class and sustainable office buildings within the township.
Eton City is envisioned as the most exciting business tourism and residential district in the South of Metro Manila. It is easily accessible through the south Luzon exit, just 30 minutes away from Alabang and 45 minutes from Taguig and Makati.
