Cebu Pacific rolls out discounted seats despite higher airline costs

Cebu Pacific has launched another round of its Super Seat Fest, offering up to 750,000 discounted seats as airlines face rising costs across the industry.

The seat sale runs from March 27 to 31, with one-way base fares for domestic and international flights starting at P88, excluding fees and surcharges.

The travel period covers July 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, allowing passengers to plan trips for different seasons, including summer, autumn, and winter.

Flights are available from the airline’s main hubs in Manila, Clark, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo. Domestic destinations include Puerto Princesa, Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, and Bohol.

International routes on sale include flights to Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and South Korea, accessible through Cebu Pacific’s hubs.

The promotion comes after the Civil Aeronautics Board approved an increase in fuel surcharges from Level 4 to Level 8. Under Level 8, fuel surcharges for domestic flights range from P253 to P787, depending on distance. For international flights, surcharges range from P835.05 to P6,208.98.

Data from the International Air Transport Association showed jet fuel prices rose by 118.8 percent to US$197 per barrel as of March 20, compared to the same period last year.

Cebu Pacific operates flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
