PNB hosts SSS and Pag-IBIG services for Filipinos in Japan

The Philippine National Bank (PNB) has received regulatory approval to allow the Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG Fund to hold client assistance and information sessions at its Tokyo and Nagoya branches.

The move lets SSS and Pag-IBIG representatives directly assist overseas Filipinos with membership, contributions, benefits, and other services in a secure and convenient banking setting.

“This initiative supports overseas Filipinos through coordinated service channels and strengthens collaboration among institutions that safeguard their welfare,” said Muffet Flores‑Caculitan, PNB first senior vice president.

PNB will provide space at its branches free of charge for these on-site services, making government programs more accessible to the Filipino community in Japan.

“This step brings critical government services closer to our kababayans, helping them secure financial protection and long-term security,” said Roderick Enriquez, PNB Tokyo managing director.

Through such partnerships, PNB continues to enhance access to both banking and government-linked services for Filipinos living abroad.
