VSTECS Phils., Inc. has been appointed as the official Philippine distributor of Fastly, Inc., a global edge cloud platform provider.
The partnership aims to help local businesses improve their digital services by making websites and applications faster, more reliable, and more secure. This comes as cyber threats grow more complex, including attacks powered by artificial intelligence and automated bots.
VSTECS said adding Fastly to its portfolio strengthens its cybersecurity offerings. Fastly’s platform processes data closer to users—known as “edge computing”—to reduce delays, maintain performance during heavy traffic, and detect threats in real time.
Company executives said the move will allow Philippine enterprises to adopt modern, edge-based security without sacrificing speed. Fastly’s technology combines content delivery, computing, and security into one system used by global brands across industries.
Through its network of partners, VSTECS plans to make Fastly’s services available to businesses nationwide, supporting faster and safer digital operations as demand for online services continues to rise.
