2GO Travel and Vallacar Transit Inc., operator of Ceres Liner, have partnered to offer seamless shuttle services connecting sea and land travel across major Philippine gateways.
The first shuttle route now operates from Nasipit Port to the Ceres Terminal in Butuan City. Similar services in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro are expected to launch soon.
Under the partnership, Ceres Liner buses will transport 2GO passengers directly from port terminals after disembarkation. Travelers can reserve shuttle seats before leaving the ship, helping reduce waiting times and improve transfer coordination.
Vallacar Transit vice president for legal Collin Derk Isidto said the partnership will make it easier for passengers from nearby provinces to access key ports and continue inter-island travel.
2GO travel business unit head Francis O. Chua said the collaboration aims to provide more convenient travel options for regular passengers, entrepreneurs, and communities across the country.
The partnership is part of 2GO’s effort to strengthen its integrated transport and logistics network by improving connectivity between sea and land travel services nationwide.
