Philippines, Paraguay partner to expand trade, investment

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and Paraguay’s Investment and Export Network REDIEX have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen trade, foreign investment, and export opportunities between the two nations.

Signed by PCCI President Ferdinand A. Ferrer and REDIEX Vice Minister Eduardo Gustale, the three-year agreement lays the groundwork for closer collaboration through the exchange of expertise, technology, and best practices.

The partnership will drive business linkages and economic cooperation via trade missions, investment events, workshops, and technical programs to support export promotion and attract investments. Joint studies and market profiles will help companies in both countries identify growth opportunities.

PCCI and REDIEX said the MOU underscores their commitment to international cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and economic development, reflecting rising Latin American interest in expanding commercial ties with Southeast Asia.

Paraguay Commercial Attaché Paola Subeldia Blasco and PCCI Secretary General Ruben J. Pascual will serve as focal points to coordinate and implement the initiatives.
