Security Bank announces two-day system maintenance, advices clients to prepare ahead

Security Bank has announced a scheduled system maintenance activity from May 23 at 10:00 a.m. until May 24 at 2:00 a.m., as part of its ongoing efforts to improve banking services and system reliability.

During the maintenance period, several banking services may be temporarily unavailable. These include ATMs and cash accept machines (CAMs), online and mobile banking platforms, card transactions, payment channels, and other select banking services.

The advisory is significant for clients who rely on digital banking and ATM access for daily transactions, particularly over the weekend. Customers are encouraged to complete urgent transactions before the scheduled downtime to avoid inconvenience.

To help assist clients during the maintenance activity, select Security Bank branches nationwide will remain open on Saturday, May 23, although some in-branch services may still be limited.

The branches that will remain open include Linao–Paco in Manila; Ali Mall in Quezon City; Cebu Business Park in Cebu City; Davao–Monteverde and Davao–Rizal in Davao City; Market! Market! in Taguig City; Mandaue–North Road in Mandaue City; Shangri-La Plaza East Wing in Mandaluyong City; Sta. Rosa–Greenfield in Santa Rosa City; and Tagbilaran in Bohol.

Security Bank said the maintenance is part of its continuing system upgrades aimed at enhancing customer banking experience and service efficiency.
