The Bank of the Philippine Islands’ e-wallet, Bank of the Philippine Islands VYBE, has partnered with M Lhuillier to make digital financial services more accessible to Filipinos by offering free cash-in transactions in more than 3,000 branches nationwide.
The partnership allows VYBE users to add money to their e-wallets at any M Lhuillier branch, helping more people access digital payments, free fund transfers to banks and e-wallets, rewards points, and other financial services even without traditional banking access.
BPI said the move supports its financial inclusion efforts by giving Filipinos an easier and more familiar way to adopt digital finance. M Lhuillier, known for its wide branch network, said the collaboration strengthens its role in connecting customers to essential services.
Users can cash in by filling out a Kwarta Padala form, paying the amount at the branch, and waiting for the funds to be credited to their VYBE account.
The partnership highlights the growing push among financial institutions to encourage the shift from cash-based transactions to digital payments, especially in underserved communities across the Philippines.
