Cebu Pacific to resume Manila-Dubai flights in July

Budget airline Cebu Pacific announced Tuesday that it will resume flights between Manila and Dubai starting July 2, 2026, after completing safety checks and coordinating closely with Dubai airport authorities.

The airline said flights 5J 14/15 and 5J 18/19 will gradually return as part of efforts to restore normal operations. Cebu Pacific will operate the Manila-Dubai route four times weekly, with flights scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Passengers affected by previously canceled Dubai flights may now rebook through the airline’s “Manage Booking” section on its official website.

Despite the earlier suspension of Dubai services, Cebu Pacific has continued its regular flights between Manila and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The resumption of Dubai flights is significant for overseas Filipino workers, tourists, and business travelers who rely on affordable direct connections between the Philippines and the Middle East. It also signals improving confidence in regional air travel safety after heightened tensions and airspace risks in the Middle East forced the airline to suspend Dubai operations in April.

Cebu Pacific reminded passengers to regularly check their flight status online and update their contact information to receive important travel advisories and operational updates.
