IABC Philippines names new leadership team for 2026–2028

IABC Philippines has officially announced its new Board of Trustees for the 2026–2028 term, approved by its members to lead and advance the business communication profession in the country.

Richard Arboleda takes office as President, succeeding Belle Tiongco, who now serves as Chairman. Other key officers include Abigail Ho-Torres (Vice President), Ferdinand Bondoy (Secretary), Michelle Bayhon (Treasurer), and Dave Devilles (Auditor). Also named are chairs for key committees: Zandro Carlos Sison (Membership), Charlotte Fabian-Reyes (Partnerships & Sponsorships), Frances Ariola (Brand and Comms), Jeffrey Tarayao (CEO Excel Awards), and Marzie Marzan (Philippine Quill Awards).

President Arboleda noted that communication work has grown broader, more complex, and closely linked to business results and trust. He stressed the team’s goal to elevate both the profession and its practitioners through better learning opportunities, knowledge sharing, and skill development.

Under the new leadership, the group will continue its flagship programs—the Philippine Quill Awards and the returning CEO Excel Awards—while boosting professional development, global network access, and industry engagement. The board will be guided by advisers Ritzi Villarico-Ronquillo, Joe Zaldarriaga, Kane Errol Choa, Rey Anthony David, and Carmencita Arce.

IABC Philippines, the first IABC chapter outside North America, is a leading group for communication professionals focused on learning, best practices, and recognizing excellence in the field.
