Signing up takes only five minutes. Travelers can purchase the plan up to two hours before their flight, or even upon arrival at the airport, making it convenient for last-minute preparations.
The insurance covers a wide range of risks, including trip cancellations, flight delays, and lost luggage. It also includes up to ₱500,000 in emergency medical assistance, ₱50,000 for travel inconveniences, and up to ₱1 million each for personal liability and personal accident coverage. The plan is valid for both domestic and international travel.
To avail of the service, users simply open the GCash app, visit the GInsure Marketplace, select “I am Traveling with a Group,” enter the required details, and complete payment.
In addition to insurance, GCash also offers a Travel eSIM service. This allows users to stay connected to the internet abroad without changing physical SIM cards, ensuring they can access the GCash app and communicate with their group even if separated during boarding or baggage handling.
