Philippine Motor Show drives toward electrified future

The Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) returns for its 10th edition from June 4 to 7 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, spotlighting a decade of growth and transformation in the local automotive industry.

Organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), this milestone edition carries the theme “Forward in Every Drive,” highlighting innovation, electrification, and smarter mobility solutions.

Seventeen automotive brands will take part, including newcomers Tesla, VinFast, BAIC, Omoda & Jaecoo, and Subaru, signaling an increasingly competitive and diverse market. A standout feature this year is electrification, with over half of the vehicles on display and available for test drives classified as electric or hybrid models—reflecting rising consumer demand for sustainable, energy-efficient transportation.

Beyond electrification, PIMS will showcase advancements in safety, connectivity, fuel efficiency, and mobility technologies. Visitors can also expect immersive brand experiences, expanded aftermarket displays, and interactive activities for car enthusiasts of all ages.

CAMPI president Jing Atienza emphasized that the show demonstrates the industry’s commitment to adapting to evolving consumer needs while reinforcing its role as a major mobility provider for Filipinos.

Since its inception in 2007, PIMS has connected manufacturers, government stakeholders, and consumers, serving as a platform to reflect the automotive sector’s expanding role in economic growth and transportation development in the Philippines.

With its focus on electrification, innovation, and interactive experiences, the 10th PIMS is not just celebrating the past—it’s driving the future of mobility in the country.
