Globe fights child malnutrition

Globe Platinum has blended exclusive customer experiences with social purpose through a charity dinner in Cebu, aimed at addressing child hunger and stunting across the Philippines. Held in partnership with La Carne Cebu and Ayala Foundation, the “Prime and Platinum” event brought together premium clients and women leaders for meaningful dialogue and collective action.

Mark Pasaylo, head of Globe Platinum, noted that the brand moves beyond exclusivity to offer ways for customers to contribute to lasting change. Funds raised from participation fees went directly to school feeding programs supporting underserved communities. The initiative forms part of the wider Hapag Movement, which in 2025 aided over 150,000 families and raised more than P54.9 million, with targeted support for areas like the BARMM where stunting rates are highest.

Ayala Foundation president Tony Lambino emphasized that such partnerships are vital to sustaining community programs. La Carne Cebu owner Jovy Tuaño added that the collaboration elevates dining experiences, combining nutrition education, food sustainability, and advocacy to help those in need. The effort underscores Globe’s vision: turning connections into opportunities that uplift lives and support nation-building.

The event demonstrates how private sector premium services can drive tangible social impact, directly supporting nutrition and child health priorities while encouraging customer participation in national development goals.
