Home Credit Philippines is strengthening its commitment to consumer protection, responsible lending, and fraud prevention through a larger leadership role in the Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP).
The company’s Cyrus Ching, late collections quality assurance manager, has been named 2026 chairman of CCAP’s Collections Committee. He joined Home Credit’s head of external affairs, Jude Romano, at the group’s annual planning in Taipei to help set industry priorities. Ching noted the role lets the firm share best practices that keep collections both effective and respectful of borrowers.
This builds on Home Credit’s track record: in 2025, its digital payments chief led CCAP’s Merchant Relations Committee, and its collections team has won the CCAP Fellowship award two years running. The firm also backs public awareness drives like #FightBudol and Pilipinas Fraud Awareness to help people avoid scams amid growing digital risks.
As a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas-regulated entity, Home Credit emphasizes that easy access to credit must come with strong safeguards. Its partnership with CCAP aims to create a more secure financial environment through education and protection for all Filipinos.
