ICTSI completes Brazil logistics acquisition: posts strong Q1 2026 results

International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) has fully acquired São Paulo-based logistics firm Companhia Regional de Armazéns Gerais e Entreposto Aduaneira (CRAGEA) through its wholly owned unit IRB Holding Ltda., after securing all regulatory approvals. CRAGEA offers general and bonded warehousing as well as multimodal logistics services.

The deal expands ICTSI’s presence in Brazil, with plans to boost operational and energy efficiency by prioritizing rail transport, ease supply chain bottlenecks, extend the reach of its port facilities, and provide more secure, innovative options for international trade clients.

ICTSI also reported strong financial and operational performance for the first three months of 2026: net income rose 23 percent year-on-year to $293.57 million; port revenues grew 29 percent to $961.11 million; and total container volume increased 18 percent to 4.08 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).
