BDO Unibank has successfully raised ₱132 billion through its sixth ASEAN Sustainability Bond issuance in pesos, drawing demand more than 26 times the initial offer size of ₱5 billion. Strong interest from both retail and institutional investors was so robust that the offer period was closed early on July 10, 2026.
The bonds carry a term of one and a half years and an annual coupon rate of 6.26 percent, with issuance, settlement and listing all taking place on July 28, 2026. Funds raised will be used to finance or refinance eligible projects under BDO’s Sustainable Finance Framework, support the bank’s lending operations, and broaden its funding base. ING Bank N.V. Manila Branch acted as sole arranger and sustainability coordinator for the deal, while BDO and ING served as selling agents, with BDO Capital & Investment Corporation as financial advisor.
