Pagbilao power assets turnover sealed; Quezon City property up for bidding 

The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) and AboitizPower’s Therma Luzon Inc. formalized transfer of the 735-MW Pagbilao power plant and 1.06M sq.m. land in Quezon Province via Aug.25 signing. Land price: ₱2.95B. Ensures steady plant operation and supply amid rising demand, supporting energy security and privatization goals.

PSALM also bids out Diliman, Quezon City property (min. ₱11.09B). Net salable area: 39,698 sq.m. Excluded: control/transmission facilities (NGCP use until Jan.2034). Bidders must be 60% Filipino-owned.

PSALM holds ₱222.26B in NPC-related debts (June 2026). Next: rehab of Mindanao’s Agus-Pulangi hydros (1,000-MW total, 600-MW active) to boost supply.
