The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund on Monday rolled out simultaneous open houses at 14 housing projects nationwide to widen access to homes and financing under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
The one-day “Handog ng Pangulo: Nationwide Open House sa Bagong Pilipinas” allows prospective buyers to visit project sites, inspect available units and learn about affordable financing and homeownership opportunities under the Marcos administration’s flagship housing program.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said the nationwide rollout brings government housing services and opportunities closer to communities.
“Ang serbisyong may malasakit, nararamdaman ng mga tao. Sa pamamagitan ng Handog ng Pangulo, inilalapit natin ang mga programa, serbisyo, at oportunidad sa pabahay sa ating mga kababayan, saan man sila naroroon,” Aliling said.
He said DHSUD would continue strengthening partnerships among the national government, local governments, private sector and communities to expand access to decent housing and safer communities.
Eight participating projects are in Luzon, including developments in Caloocan, Bulacan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Nueva Ecija and Quezon.
Four sites in the Visayas are participating: Cebu City Residential Park, Deca Homes Granada 2 in Bacolod, Richwood Homes Bohol Dos in Dauis, and Primary Homes Negros in Tanjay.
In Mindanao, the program covers Deca Homes GenSan 2 in General Santos City and an Expanded 4PH Housing Caravan in Panabo City, Davao del Norte.
Aliling represented President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the launch in San Juan City, which signaled the start of the nationwide Pag-IBIG Fund open house.
