First Balfour Inc., the Lopez Group’s engineering and construction arm, has retained its triple ISO certification for the 24th consecutive year after passing rigorous audits by TÜV SÜD Philippines.
Conducted in August 2026, the reviews covered ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) — assessments held at the firm’s Leyte project site and Manila head office. Meeting these global standards confirms consistent operational excellence, environmental care, and workplace safety over more than two decades.
Leaders said the milestone reflects deep-rooted company culture, not just compliance. “Quality, safety, and sustainability have been at the heart of everything we do,” they noted.
A “Quadruple A” contractor since 1969 and a subsidiary of First Philippine Holdings, First Balfour delivers key infrastructure across power, transport, water, and building sectors. Its 24-year unbroken triple ISO standing stands as a mark of reliable, world-class performance for all stakeholders.
