Asian Eye Institute (AEI), the country’s pioneering multi-specialty eye care center, marks its 25th anniversary with special offers and broader outreach.
From Oct. 1–15, 2026, up to 25 % off selected diagnostics and surgical procedures at all branches. AEI also supports First Lady Liza Araneta‑Marcos’ LAB for ALL, providing exams, free eyeglasses, medicines, and goggles to underserved communities, plus upcoming medical missions.
Founded from a 1999 conversation between Oscar M. Lopez and Dr. Felipe Tolentino, AEI opened in 2001 with seven Harvard‑trained specialists. Today it runs five certified sites with 19 internationally trained doctors, having served over 300,000 patients.
“Our promise remains: innovate, reach further, raise standards,” said FPH chief Federico “Piki” Lopez.
AEI has repeatedly led in adopting breakthroughs — from OCT in 2005, Supracor in 2011, Victus laser in 2013, to joining the world’s first fully robot‑assisted cataract surgery in April 2026.
