Island Credit Solution (ICS) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) have formalized a partnership linking the National ID Authentication Services (NIDAS) to CreditMo, making ICS the first Special Accessing Entity and credit bureau partner successfully integrated with the system. For consumers, verifying identity to access credit information is now one quick step using the National ID, replacing the earlier multi-document process. Checks run directly against the National ID database, cutting fraud risk and protecting personal credit data.
CreditMo lets users view their credit reports and scores, track their standing, and get tailored financial guidance. PSA Assistant Secretary Rosalinda P. Bautista said the partnership turns National ID capability into everyday benefit: “It shows how the National ID makes services more convenient, accessible, and inclusive through streamlined digital verification.”
ICS Deputy CEO Alex Zhu noted the shift puts people first: “For decades, credit solutions focused on institutions. We’re turning the magnifying glass into a mirror — giving individuals a clear view of their credit and ways to improve it.” Atty. Henedine P. Palabras of the PSA added the collaboration builds greater trust and inclusion: “This supports a more secure, empowered, and digitally inclusive Philippines.” ICS Chief of Staff Mery Singh summed up: “Right information gives Filipinos the power to act — and opens financial doors.”
