The international e-commerce company Lazada Group on Wednesday said it is investing more in its Philippine operations to meet the rising demand from Filipino online shoppers.
According to Lazada chief executive officer Carlos Barrera, the e-commerce giant incrementally invested in its Philippine operations given the robust demand from millions of Filipino shoppers who enjoy the convenience of buying goods online.
“We are proud to have such a strong seller community, and we are confident we can achieve even more success together. We have been focusing our investments in key areas that will allow our partners to grow faster and gain more market share, and we want everyone to win,” Barrera said.

In months just past, Lazada has rolled out more promotions such as its Cashback program, which has been effective in keeping customers loyal, as they earn back a percentage of the money they spend while shopping on Lazada
Lazada also said shoppers enjoy up to 90 percent off branded LazFlash Deals, Fast and Free Shipping, and up to P1,000 cash back during the 9.9 Mega Brands Sale. The sale lasts from 9 to 13 September.
