    Drones deliver high yields in rice, weed control trials

    The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) has reported promising results in using drones for weed control in wet direct-seeded rice fields.

    Meat imports up 16.5% over eight months

    The country's meat imports rose by 16.5 percent in the first eight months, reaching 1.06 billion kilograms compared to 907.78 million kg in the same period last year, according to data from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI).
