    Hog raisers welcome plan realigning intelligence funds for vaccines

    Hog raisers on Monday welcomed the legislative proposal realigning a portion or P1.5 billion in intelligence funds for the purchase of vaccine against the African swine fever.

    The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) on Sunday said Congress added P40 billion to the agency’s 2024 budget which has the potential to irrigate also an additional 57,000 hectares of rice land and produce 570,000 metric tons more palay each year.
