    The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on Tuesday highlighted the need for greater investments in power generation projects, more so now when the transmission grid across the country has interconnected and necessarily strengthened.

    Alternergy Holdings Corp. subsidiary Alternergy Tanay Wind Corp. (ATWC) has signed an interconnection agreement (ICA) with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) linking its 100-megawatt Tanay wind power project in Rizal Province to the national power line.
