    Negros Power nears full power restoration after Typhoons Tino, Uwan

    Negros Electric and Power Corp. is close to fully restoring electricity across Central Negros after Typhoons Tino and Uwan, according to the Department of Energy (DOE). As of 6 p.m. on November 17, 2025, power has been restored to more than 92 percent of the 244,915 affected customers.

    Sarangani Energy fee lifts Alsons earnings

    Alsons Consolidated Resources Inc. (ACR) reported an improvement in its bottom line for the first nine months of 2025, with net income attributable to the parent company rising to P695 million from P604 million last year. The increase was mainly due to the recognition of a development fee from its partner in Sarangani Energy Corporation.
