    The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Friday announced that the fuel subsidy program benefiting public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers, tricycle operators, and delivery service riders should be completed by the second quarter this year. The initiative aims to cushion the impact of rising fuel prices on over one million workers in the transportation sector.

    The Bureau of Customs announced Thursday the seizure of approximately P2.64 billion worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, concealed in a shipment at the Port of Manila. The shipment, which was declared to contain Crispo vermicelli and Rafhan custard sauce, arrived from Pakistan and was consigned to Redshinting Consumer Goods Trading.
