Catholic bishops have joined mounting opposition to the proposed joint venture between South Cotabato II Electric Cooperative (SOCOTECO II) and Ignite Power and Energy Holdings, urging the Ombudsman to suspend cooperative board members facing complaints over the controversial deal.
