The payback time for rooftop solar systems in the Philippines has dropped significantly as electricity prices rise and panel costs fall, making the technology far more attractive to users, according to global energy think tank Ember.

Revenues rose 3% year-on-year to ₱16.7 billion, while operating income went up 15 percent to ₱2.8 billion. Gross profit increased 11 percent to ₱4.5 billion, and net income grew 9 percent to ₱2.3 billion, supported by better pricing, lower raw material costs, and improved production efficiency.
