1. The Year of the Water Rabbit will be a year of revelations.
It will be a year of controversy. Under-the-table deals and other hanky-panky will be revealed. Partners (personal, business, political, etc.) will be biting each other in the back. Secrets will be exposed. Syphoning off of funds will be uncovered. State witnesses will abound, not just in the Philippines, but worldwide.
Context: The image of the water rabbit in I-Ching is the marrying maiden, which is an image of contradiction.
You can already see it now as the energy of the season basically started a few months back. Unlike the Western horoscope, where the old year turns into the new year in a day, the Chinese horoscope is about the season. The energy of the water rabbit already came during the winter season. Past problems will be exposed. Cases will be filed. This will continue until the first quarter of 2024.
2. It will also be a year of potential growth.
Unicorn projects, apps, and IPOs will be popping up. There will be lots of potential of growth. Young people will be growing into power.
Context: The image of the year is of a young plant with growth above. It is about innocence, of new territory not ventured yet. That’s why…
3. …Be extremely cautious.
Be careful about new projects. Look into the background of new business ventures, check about false advertisement. Basically, be alert not only wealth-wise but also health-wise.
Extra caution should be in China, Philippines, US, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Russia.
Context: As some people will come up, others will try to pull those down because of envy. Also, life is a cycle, when you’re up, be prepared for the down. This year, be extra cautious. For significant decisions, think twice or even thrice.
4. Your Animal Sign is only one part of your fortune.
Context: Year of birth is not the only basis of one’s luck, but also on month, day, hour, and even minute of birth—each of which has a corresponding heaven and earth direction; luck is also based on luck pillar. It’s based on the interaction of these energies, together with the elements of water, wood, fire, earth, and metal, as well as the alignment of the stars.
Fortune based on the above is only a third of overall fortune. Another third is based on the fengshui of where you’re staying, and the last third is on The Way, or your attitude.

Context. The general energy for the 20-year cycle of Period 9 is fire (from 2024-2044). It already started two years ago like Covid, which spread into a pandemic. Sickness and scandal and war, like fire, spread quickly as these are Period 9 traits.
Period 9 attitudes like that of Elon Musk and also of trolling have already begun. So, expect the unexpected.
Period 8 of earth is still here, but the property bubble in China, for instance, is already bursting. Nevertheless, real estate and agriculture will always be good because earth does not reproduce.
Is it OK to go into cryptocurrency like bitcoins? It is in between because they are of different energy; they could be fire because they spread fast but they could also be water, which can be contained in a glass, for instance.
7. Cool minds will be in demand.
Woman power is coming up. We have seen a foretaste of this in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
8. Before midnight, close all the doors and in the morning, have everyone in the household drink something sweet.
Context: Keep the bad energies from other people from entering your house. Start the new year with sweetness.
