    GCash resumes normal operations

GCash, the mobile wallet of Globe Telecom, on Tuesday announced that its services are now back to normal after a downtime Monday.

“As of October 9, 7:00 PM, the intermittent issues have been addressed and all affected services are accessible. We assure our customers that their accounts and funds remain secure,” GCash said.

GCash has been continuously rolling out safety and security measures to prevent unsecured devices from accessing the app.

“While implementing this, the app remained operational but some customers may have experienced intermittent access to selected services,” it said.

“The latest security deployment is part of ongoing enhancements to ensure the safest and most secure experience for our customers,” GCash added.

The company said its official channels remain open and accessible for any concerns.

“We advise our users to never share their MPIN and One-time PIN (OTP) with anyone. GCash will never send emails or messages with links nor reach out to customers via calls and other messaging platforms,” it added.
