Listed renewable energy firm Raslag Corp. has purchased over a hundred hectares of property in Sto. Rosa, Nueva Ecija for P807.7 million.
The land is host to solar farms RASLAG VI and RASLAG VII which will eventually connect to the National Grid Corporation’s 69-kilovolt transmission line. This will increase Raslag’s renewable energy portfolio and generate a new revenue stream.
The property is purchased on installment from 36 lot owners, with earnest money and down payment totaling P282.7 million. The balance will be paid in nine equal installments of P58.3 million.
All six Raslag solar farms thus far generate combined capacity of around 181 megaWatts-peak.
