Cebu Pacific announced Thursday that it will be the first and only airline to offer direct flights between Manila and Sapporo, Japan, starting 16 January 2025.
The Gokongwei-led airline will operate three weekly flights on this route, cutting travel time to just five hours—half of what other carriers offer with layovers. “We are thrilled to be the only carrier to offer non-stop flights between Manila and Sapporo,” said Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer.
The new service aligns with Cebu Pacific’s ongoing mission to expand its international network, giving more Filipinos the opportunity to experience Sapporo’s winter charm.
With this addition, Cebu Pacific’s extensive fleet continues to support its growing international presence across 35 domestic and 27 international destinations.
