Marcos won’t take kill threat sitting down

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday addressed the recent tirade of Vice President Sara Duterte, including her threat to assassinate him, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez. Marcos, without naming VP directly, said he would not let the matter go, warning, “Yang ganyang kriminal na pagtatangka ay hindi dapat pinapalampas. Yan ay aking papalagan.” He emphasized the need to uphold the rule of law in a democratic country and said no one is above the law, especially in the search for truth. “Ang katotohanan ay hindi dapat itokhang,” he added, urging the VP to address legitimate questions from lawmakers.
