The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) has launched an electric shuttle service in collaboration with GET Philippines, Inc. for a sustainable and convenient transport option for commuters traveling between PITX and the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) complex.
The initiative, powered by GET’s all-electric COMET vehicles, is designed to reduce carbon emissions while providing a greener alternative to traditional public transport. With an initial three-unit fleet, the shuttle will operate Friday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, serving key locations such as SMX, SM MOA North and South Wings, and the SMDC Shore Residences.
“The PITX Electric Shuttle Service is a significant step toward modernizing our transport system with sustainable solutions,” said Jaime Raphael Feliciano, president of PITX. The service aims to meet the needs of commuters, including office workers, students, and shoppers, with customized routes and schedules. Depending on demand, the service could expand in the future to accommodate additional units and days of operation.
The new shuttle service is part of PITX’s broader vision to enhance connectivity within the MOA complex and explore similar initiatives for future projects like the Cavite BRT system.
