Universal Robina Corporation (URC) has appointed Anna Milagros “Mian” D. David as the first president of its branded consumer foods (BCF) business in the Philippines. With a robust 17-year career in sales and marketing at a major multinational, Mian has significantly impacted URC since joining in 2018. As vice president for beverages, she revitalized the Great Taste coffee brand and re-engineered the C2 portfolio, reinforcing URC’s dominance in the ready-to-drink tea market.
Mian’s leadership extended to snack foods, driving URC’s #1 market share in snacks, chocolates, and candies. As managing director for URC International and chief marketing officer, she helped the company achieve double-digit growth, including in key Southeast Asian markets like Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.
In her new role, Mian will lead efforts to further strengthen URC’s market leadership and sustainable growth in the Philippines, aligning with the company’s mission to “delight the people we serve.” This appointment underscores URC’s commitment to expanding its presence and delivering value to Filipino consumers.
