PERC secures permits for 33.8 MW solar project in Isabela

Petro Energy Resources Corp. (PERC) on Monday announced that its affiliate, BKS Green Energy Corp., has received the transmission connection approval from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) for its 33.8 MW solar project in Isabela.

This development accelerates the second phase of the Limbauan solar power project, which is part of a joint venture with Japan’s Taisei Corp.

The project, certified by the Department of Energy (DOE) as nationally significant, supports the government’s energy goals and will be connected to the Tuguegarao–Cabagan 69 kV transmission system.

The first phase of 5-MW project passed muster with the Isabela II Electric Cooperative. The second phase is on track for completion by December 2025 under the Green Energy Auction program. PERC’s broader renewable energy portfolio includes geothermal and solar projects across the Philippines.
