Singapore Airlines (SIA) has entered into a strategic partnership with EastWest Bank to offer exclusive discounts and rewards to EastWest credit cardholders, enhancing the travel experience of its customers. Liwei Tai, general manager for Singapore Airlines in the Philippines, said the collaboration aligns with the airline’s ongoing efforts to bring added value and attract more travelers in 2025.
As part of the partnership, EastWest cardholders can enjoy significant savings on SIA flights by using the promo code GETAWAY25 when booking via singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir mobile app. The promotion, which runs from 15 February to 31 December this year, offers a limited-time opportunity for customers to access discounted fares on eligible flights.
Lawrence Lee, EastWest Bank representative, emphasized that cardholders can earn valuable KrisFlyer miles for every purchase made, with one mile for every P12 spent. Additionally, cardholders will benefit from cash rebates of up to P5,000 and the chance to earn KrisFlyer Elite Gold status with a minimum spend of P50,000.
As enhancement, EastWest cardholders may convert their ticket purchases into 6-month, 0 percent interest installments, making it easier for travelers to manage larger transactions. With access to premium travel perks, including exclusive promotions on Singapore Airlines flights, this partnership is set to attract frequent travelers and boost airline bookings.
This move underscores the increasing synergy between the banking and aviation sectors, focusing on rewarding customers for their loyalty while enhancing travel experiences.
