ONIC Philippines, one of the country’s top eSports teams, left no doubt about who the best team was at the 6th edition of the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge Finals–Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in Malaysia.
The three-day tournament, which offered a total prize pool of USD150,000, saw ONIC Philippines take home the grand prize of USD65,000, along with a trophy and regional bragging rights.
In addition to the prize money, ONIC Philippines, which had to qualify to get to the 3-day event along with five others (six teams were invited), secured a spot at the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025. There, they will face off against the world’s top MLBB teams for a share of the USD200,000 prize pool.
To claim the championship, ONIC Philippines swept two top Indonesian teams. In the finals, they dominated their sister team, ONIC Esports, winning every match without dropping a single game.
The winning team consists of Jann Gutierrez, also known as Kirk; King Perez, or K1ngkong; Frince Ramirez, who plays as Super Frince; Grant Pillas, better known as Kelra; and Borris Parro, who goes by Brusko.
For their efforts, ONIC Esports received USD32,000.
The Snapdragon Mobile Challenge was organized by the ESL FACEIT Group.
ONIC Philippines’ victory adds to their already impressive achievements, following their triumph at the M6 World Championship and their win at MPL Philippines Season 14.
