The Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation (NCAF) announced over the weekend that the Aquino Center will reopen its museum in Barangay San Miguel, Tarlac City next Monday, February 24, ahead of the EDSA People Power 39th anniversary celebration.
The museum honors the legacy of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., his wife, former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, and their son, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. The facility will welcome visitors from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The museum underwent renovation in 2023 to refurbish the section on the 1987 Constitution, expand the exhibit area for Cory’s post-presidency years, and establish a wing on the life and presidency of her son, Noynoy.
The reopening will also mark the launch of the photobook “PNoy: Filipino,” offering Filipinos a closer look into the younger Aquino’s presidency through images taken by his close-in photographers.
