CEB flies Cebu-Ho Chi Minh City direct beginning April

Cebu Pacific (CEB) on Thursday said it will begin direct flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, starting 7 April this year. This is the first-ever direct connection between Central Visayas and Vietnam, enhancing both commercial and tourism opportunities for both regions.

The new non-stop flights will operate three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—offering Cebu travelers an easy gateway to explore the rapidly growing Vietnamese tourism market. According to Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer, “Vietnam continues to grow in popularity among Filipino travelers, and launching this new route provides an exciting opportunity for both Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City to benefit from increased international connectivity.”

This development also promises to boost tourism flows, with CEB working to attract more visitors from Vietnam to the Philippines while offering Filipinos the chance to explore the cultural and economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City.

In a limited-time offer, travelers can book flights from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City for as low as P1 one-way base fare (exclusive of fees and surcharges) from  20 to 24 February. Travel dates extend from 7 April to 31 July 2025, with flexible payment options available, including credit/debit cards and e-wallets.

CEBserves 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. It continues to expand its network, strengthening its commitment to providing affordable, seamless travel for millions of passengers.
