    VITRO Inc. powers up AI capabilities with NVIDIA GPU servers at Sta. Rosa facility

    VITRO Inc., the data center division of the PLDT Group and a subsidiary of ePLDT, has marked a significant milestone with the activation of NVIDIA-powered graphic processing unit (GPU) servers at its data center facility in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the growing demand for AI workloads and enhancing its GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offerings.

    The 50-megawatt VITRO Sta. Rosa (VSR) facility, designed to accommodate enterprises, hyperscalers, and AI platforms, is poised to become a key player in the country’s digital transformation. By activating live GPU servers, VSR demonstrates its advanced capabilities to power high-performance computing solutions, crucial for AI-driven applications.

    “We envision VITRO Sta. Rosa to be the Philippines’ AI hub, forming the first AI ecosystem in the country,” said Victor S. Genuino, president and CEO of ePLDT & VITRO. “This milestone showcases VSR’s true capabilities to host the latest AI platforms that will reshape our digital landscape today.”

    As the demand for AI technologies intensifies, VSR is focused on innovation, with plans to support up to 100 kW per rack. The facility will also integrate state-of-the-art power and cooling solutions to remain adaptable to the evolving needs of AI applications.

    With the activation of these cutting-edge technologies, VITRO Sta. Rosa strengthens the Philippines’ position as a growing digital hub within the Asia-Pacific region, attracting global investments and fostering technological progress that drives economic growth and innovation.
