    WORLDBEX 2025 kicks off with focus on sustainability and innovation

    WORLDBEX 2025 officially opened on Thursday, embracing the theme “Beyond Sustainnovation” as it continues its 28-year legacy of driving excellence and innovation in the construction and design industries. This year’s event at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center showcases groundbreaking green solutions and aligns with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    The opening ceremony was marked by vibrant energy, with host Issa Litton setting the tone for the event. Joseph Ang, founding chairman of WSI, delivered a speech welcoming attendees, including distinguished guests such as Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, and Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan. The ceremony also highlighted WORLDBEX’s commitment to sustainability through symbolic elements like bamboo, soil, and water, embodying the event’s values of renewal and progress.

    At SMX Convention Center, Levi Ang delivered her remarks followed by a speech from Senator Mark Villar. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by key figures from WORLDBEX, including Joseph Ang and Levi Ang, along with board members and government officials. The event featured exhibitors, partners, and interior design vignettes centered on sustainable innovation.
