L’Oréal Philippines is widening its push to develop the next generation of beauty and social commerce entrepreneurs, expanding its Beauty for a Better Life (BFBL) E-Beauty Advisor (e-BA) Program across Luzon in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), local governments, and academic institutions.
The initiative forms part of L’Oréal’s goal to equip 10,000 Filipinos with beauty, digital, and business skills by 2030—an ambition anchored in sustainable livelihood creation. The two-month hybrid course blends hands-on beauty fundamentals with social media strategy, online selling techniques, and entrepreneurship modules, preparing graduates for careers as content creators, social commerce sellers, e-beauty advisors, salon professionals, or independent beauty freelancers.
Momentum is building. Since its rollout under the BFBL umbrella, the e-BA Program has trained 2,346 beneficiaries from 2023 to 2024, including 600 participants in Luzon during its pilot year. Its measurable impact has earned global recognition, securing accreditation under the L’Oréal Foundation’s BFBL framework—an endorsement that opens the door for replication in other countries.
Now entering its third year, L’Oréal and DTI are accelerating scale. The program is being deployed across major Luzon cities, with 740 participants expected to complete training by the end of 2025 and an additional 280 graduates projected by the first quarter of 2026.
By merging beauty education with digital entrepreneurship, L’Oréal aims to transform the program into a catalyst for economic mobility—turning skills into income streams and empowering thousands to build resilient livelihoods in a rapidly evolving beauty and creator economy.
