Oracle NetSuite, the leading AI cloud ERP, has introduced new AI-focused tools designed to help developers build and customize applications more quickly and securely on its platform.
The new offering, called SuiteCloud Agent Skills, improves how AI coding assistants understand NetSuite’s system, allowing developers to follow established standards and avoid common mistakes. The company said this will reduce development time and minimize errors.
Brian Chess, senior vice president of AI, product and technology at Oracle NetSuite, said the tools will help organizations act on their data faster by shifting from slow, manual coding processes to AI-assisted development that is more efficient and consistent.
SuiteCloud Agent Skills work across more than 25 AI coding platforms and allow developers to create, review, and deploy changes using natural language. The tools provide guidance for building user interfaces that meet NetSuite standards, offer predefined permission settings to strengthen security, and give quick access to coding references. They can also automatically generate project documentation, include built-in security guidance based on industry standards, and help convert older scripts into newer versions more efficiently.
Oracle NetSuite said some of the features are already available globally, while others will be released soon on GitHub.
The company added that the launch is part of its broader effort to expand artificial intelligence capabilities in its cloud-based business software, which is used by more than 43,000 organizations worldwide.
