PhilCare launches HeyPhil 3.0, bringing 24/7 healthcare access via mobile app

PhilCare has launched HeyPhil 3.0, a major update to its health app designed to give Filipinos faster and easier access to medical services.

The company said the upgrade aims to reduce delays in healthcare, such as long travel times, waiting lines, and manual approval processes. With the new version, users can access medical support directly through their smartphones.

HeyPhil 3.0 introduces several new features. These include instant requests for Letters of Authorization (LOA) with a daily pre-approved limit of ₱1,500, allowing patients to skip hospital queues. The app also offers built-in teleconsultations, where users can connect with general practitioners or book specialists through DigiMed and DigiMed Plus.

Other updates include a simplified and more personalized interface, digital filing and tracking of reimbursement claims, and improved security settings for user data protection.

PhilCare president and CEO Jaeger L. Tanco said the update reflects the company’s goal of making healthcare more accessible and efficient. He added that the app supports their “Walang Iwanan” commitment by ensuring members can receive care without delays or barriers.

The app is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Existing users can update and log in with their current accounts, while new users can register using their PhilCare details.

PhilCare said HeyPhil 3.0 is part of its push to modernize healthcare services and make treatment more convenient from the first symptoms to recovery.
