Converge boosts support for PH BPO industry

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is strengthening its support for the Philippine business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, saying strong digital infrastructure is key to keeping the country globally competitive.

At the Elevating Connections forum held at its BGC headquarters, Converge Global Business gathered industry leaders to discuss the growing technology needs of the IT-BPM sector, including secure data management, AI integration, and reliable hybrid work systems.

IBPAP president and CEO Jack Madrid said world-class digital infrastructure is essential as the industry moves toward higher-value and more digital services.

Converge said it continues to invest in local and international infrastructure to provide scalable and reliable connectivity for businesses. The company highlighted its participation in major subsea cable projects, including the SEA-H2X and Bifrost Cable Systems, which connect the Philippines to key Asian and North American markets.

With its fiber network now spanning more than 896,000 kilometers, Converge aims to help maintain the Philippines’ position as a leading global outsourcing destination.
