The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas launched the BSP E-Learning Academy-Know Your Money (BELA-KYM) course on 05 May 2026 to help Filipino cash handlers identify genuine banknotes and coins and support currency integrity.
The free online course was developed by BSP currency experts and includes lessons on currency authentication, proper cash handling, related laws and regulations, and BSP policies on currency integrity preservation.
BELA-KYM is self-paced and open to cash handlers from banks, non-bank financial institutions, and retail establishments nationwide. Participants who complete the training will receive BSP-issued certificates.
The course is available through BELA starting 05 May 2026. Registration inquiries may be sent to kym.currencyanalysis@bsp.gov.ph.
